Description: A train loaded with Granite chippings departs from the Bardon Hill quarry exchange sidings on the former Leicester and Swannington Railway. Hauled by Freightliner class-66 Co-Co 66563, the train is heading south to the London area. Bardon Hill signal box is a Midland Railway type 2b box dating from 1899, although the original mechanical lever frame has been replaced by electrical switches.
