Description: Lepers' Window - Ffenestr y Gwahanglwyfusion, Eglwys Beuno Sant St Beuno (d.642?)was a reputed healer as well as an establisher of churches. In the Middle Ages, lepers came to the church at Pistyll looking for a cure. These were housed in a hospice set up at Cae Hosbis Pennla, the main body of pilgrims enroute to Bardsey being accommodated on a separate site on the Cefnedd hill behind the church. During Mass, the lepers stood outside the north-western end of the church and at communion time received the Host through this small window.
