Description: Life restoration of Lysorophus tricarinatus. Based on the life restoration found here. Egg coiling behavior is speculative and is based on the behavior of modern amphiumas. In "A skeleton of Lysorophus tricarinatus (Amphibia: Lepospondyli) from the Hennessey Formation (Permian) of Oklahoma" by Everett C. Olson Journal of Paleontology 45(3), it is said that very small specimens of Lysorophus may belong to unhatched individuals, although this is doubtful due to the low concentration of specimens.
