Description: The inside of a Maasai manyatta, the living quarters of Maasai murran (warrior) (In contrast to the Maasai enkang (best be translatd as village, the living communities of murrani (warriors) are not surrounded by a fence because the warriors do neither have wives nor are they traditionally involved in herding. They protect the Maasai cattle as well as the villages of the Maasai.) located just outside the Sekenani gate of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
