The original image is from La Armeria Real ou collection des principales pieces de la galerie darmes anciennes de Madrid; Vol. III. Information from Antara Cerita dan Sejarah: Meriam Cetbang Majapahit: In La Armeria Real ou Collection des Principales Pieces de la Galerie d'Armes Anciennes de Madrid volume III, there is a double-barreled breech-loading swivel cannon, called the Madrid canons indiens (Indian cannon in Madrid). The author thinks that the cannon was misidentified, and that it came from Europe because it lacked an oriental element to it. He estimated that the gun was made by the Flemish people, and believed that it belonged to the German artillery train division that Charles V brought to Santander on July 16, 1522. The gun had a thorn or bumpy back motif, and the breech chamber was 8 pouce (22 cm) long and a width of more than 4 pouce (11 cm), with a caliber of 1 pouce 2 ligne (3.2 cm). Yet if you look closely, the muzzle shape of the cannon is a Javanese dragon, and the thorn motif on the back of the cannon is quite common to find dragon-patterned cannons in the archipelago.
