Description: Napoleon's Chair: mahogany canework bergere chair used by Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821). After Napoleon was exiled on St Helena in 1815 he used the chair at the house of Reverend Boys, and damaged the cane near the right arm with his penknife. The other wear and tear was caused by the Public. In Maidstone Museum, Kent, England.
