Description: This is one half of tram number 1000, which was a protoype for the T68 trams which operated on Manchester Metrolink between 1992 and 2014. I think it’s only a mock-up and has never entered service; there was also never another half of it built. With the production T68s now being withdrawn, I imagine one of those units will be joining it in the museum in due time.
