Description: This is a map that the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center sent to me from their files. It appears to depict street layouts and the like of Rockingham Township. Text on the blueprint: Map of the Old Town of Rockingham (the former Capital of Scott Co: Ia.) Laid out by Adrian H. Davenport and J. H. Sullivan in the year 1835. Vacated Jan: 17. 1846 by the Council and House of Representatives of the Territory of Iowa. Compiled by Frank Holm Recorder, Democratic Candidate for Re-Election.
