Description: Banner of Sultan Abu al-Hasan, produced in Fes and dated to December 1339 or January 1340 (Djumada 740 AH), probably captured by the Spanish at some point and as a result is now housed in the Cathedral of Toledo. According to the source below, it is one of only a few surviving Marinid textiles of its kind. Image was copied from the following book for a museum exhibit: Lintz, Yannick; Déléry, Claire; Tuil Leonetti, Bulle (eds.). "Maroc médiéval: Un empire de l'Afrique à l'Espagne." Paris: Louvre éditions. ISBN 9782350314907. On page 546-547.
