Description: The part of the grove you can visit is right next to the road. The grove itself continues uphill and doesn't have footpaths, but as far as I know may be freely explored - just please don't take anything or step on anything, especially baby sequoia trees! Smartly, signs don't identify where the largest tree in the grove stands - so that it may grow in peace. Similarly, there's somewhere in California the largest oak tree - and it's location is highly guarded so it doesn't get pestered or vandalized - because I believe it also happens to be a rare and endangered species of oak.
