Description: Fishermen's Memorial, w:Gloup, w:Isle of Yell, w:Shetland This memorial, erected in 1981 recalls the fishing disaster which occurred near here on July 21st 1881. Fifty eight fishermen lost their lives, many local, when they were caught in a sudden storm.
