Description: The former Merrick Theatre on the southeast corner of Jamaica Avenue and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in the Jamaica section of Queens, New York City. Originally built in 1921 and boasting of being "Jamaica’s Largest Playhouse," it has served as a block of retail stores since at least the mid-20th Century.
