Based on figures 2 and 3 of "The South African stereospondyl Microposaurus from the Middle Triassic of the Sydney Basin, Australia" by Anne Warren (Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology 32(3): 538-544). The spiracle in the otic notch is inferred from its possible presence in other stereospondyls such as Dutuitosaurus, according to Laurin and Soler-Gijón (2006)
