Description: Mimetite Locality: Ojuela Mine, Mapimí, Municipio de Mapimí, Durango, Mexico (Locality at mindat.org) Size: 6.4 x 5.2 x 3.4 cm. This mimetite is quite familiar for the locality, except for the strange COLOR - pea-green rather than the familiar yellow! In botryoidal form, on the usual limonite matrix. From a small batch we got from this unusual find at a classic and prolific Mexican locality.
