Description: This monument is erected in the abacus of the nation Mathieu Kérékou, born September 2, 1933 in Kouarfa, not far from Natitingou (former colony of Dahomey), and died October 14, 2015 in Cotonou (Benin), It is a man of Beninese State. Proclaimed after a coup d 'état President of the Republic of Dahomey, then the People's Republic of Benin from October 26, 1972 to March 1, 1990, he is then elected President of the Republic of Benin from April 4, 1996 to April 5, 2006, date to which he democratically yields power.
