Description: Moose Factory (also called Monsipi), in James Bay, after its capture by the French in June 1686, and renamed Fort Saint-Louis. "Fort Saint-Louis, located in the island next to it (marked with the letter A), provided with 40 pieces of cannon, 25 of which were brought from Fort Sainte-Anne and in which the French trade in furs" . Dedicated to Monsignor Marquis de Seignelay (Minister of the Navy).
