Description: Mynydd Merthyr This is looking along the crest of Mynydd Merthyr from the south-east, this particular section called Pen Rhiwporthmon. The square extends for another 100 metres or so and is virtually all grassy sheep moorland. The wall then rises towards the extensive forestry on Mynydd Gethin.
