Image: NGC 4411b and NCG 4411a

Description: Although NGC 4411b (left) and NCG 4411a (right) appear next to each other, they don’t show signs of interaction, such as distorted arms. They are both approximately 50 million light years from us and so are possibly too close to be named as an 'overlap'. The cropped image was taken from the Cosmic Treasure Chest (top left) using GIMP v3. CREDITː NSF–DOE Vera C.
