Description: Nerodia erythrogaster flavigaster - On Saturday, for the first time in ages, I neglected to grab the camera on the way out the door for my walk in JJP. Beside one of the trails I saw a beautiful Western Cottonmouth Water Moccasin. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Today, this Yellowbelly Water Snake, near another trail, was some consolation.
