Description: Inscription on the so-called "Cup of Nestor from Pithekoussai in the archaic Euboean Greek alphabet, which can be transliterated into the standard alphabet as "Νεστορος : ε[μ]ι : ευποτ[ον] : ποτεριον hος δ'α<ν> τοδε πιεσι : ποτερι[ο] : αυτικα κενον hιμερος hαιρεσει : καλλιστεφ[α]νο : Αφροδιτες", meaning "I am the drinkworthy cup of Nestor, whoever drinks from this cup, longing for Aphrodite of the beautiful crown will quickly seize him."
