In which 200 white boys 16 to 19 years old, are said to have attacked a number of colored boys at Garfield Park. Others were nursing bruises Inflicted by bricks and clubs. Charlotte Pieper, 7. stepped from her home to see what caused the commotion and was shot. Paul Karbwitz, 18, was struck by the charge when Nathan Weather, colored, in whose home the negroes found refuge, fired Into the crowd.
