Description: The Alâeddin mosque (on the hill with the kale, that however is named Alâeddin Hill too) was commissioned by Ziynettin Beşare, lord of the sanjak of Niğde, in 1223. Though repeatedly restored it has essentially kept its original state. Inside it is of the usual multi-columned type, and with a window letting in more light in the centre.
