Description: Tracking radars for the Nike Zeus anti-ballistic missile program on Kwajalein, Marshall Islands. Closest to the camera are two Target Tracking Radars (TTR). The raised radome centred in the Zeus Discrimination Radar (ZDR or DDR). Note the metal tunnel running between the ZDR building and the outermost fencing, which provided protected access to the radar while it was operating. The power of the ZDR presented a serious physical risk, which was mitigated using the reflective fencing. The Missile Tracking Radars (MTR) are located on the building in the distant background, although they are only just visible in this image (when zoomed in). The small radome beside the same building is not identified. Just behind the ZDR is a power plant which runs the entire system. The red and white tower on the extreme left was used to optically compare the MTR tracks to the target for bore sighting.
