Description: The headboard, from the Museum collection, refers to a memorable weekend of steam operations on the Marks Tey - Sudbury branch during 1991 using the restored Holden class N7 and a three-car Metro Cammell DMU as the hauled stock. Several trips along the branch were made, but all terminated at Great Cornard as the "new" platform at Sudbury was only two coaches long (it has now had to be extended to cope with the Class 755 3-car units). The weather all weekend in 1991 was dull and overcast, as I remember. Taken during the Transport Festival at East Anglian Railway Museum 28-29th May 2023
