Description: The hulk of HMS Medway, docked in the camber of the dockyard (which would become the North Camber, with the original dockyard becoming the North Yard, at the turn-of-the-century, when the South Yard was constructed with its own camber) and ships of the Royal Navy's North America & West Indies Station anchored at Grassy Bay, as seen from the Royal Naval Dockyard on Ireland Island, Bermuda, circa 1865. A prison hulk is berthed in the camber enclosed by the breakwater (at the turn of the century, these became the northern camber and breakarm with the completion of the South Yard, when the original fortified dockyard became the North Yard).
