Description: Norwood Locomotive Depot. View northward, towards London: ex-LB&SCR Depot. Serving Norwood Marshalling Yard, it was situated on the east side of the main line north of Norwood Junction station, with the Down loop of the line from Clapham Junction via Crystal Palace curving over at the far end and round to the left. The Depot (BR code 75C) had an allocation in 11/54 of 33 steam locomotives (17 0-6-0, 4 2-6-4T, 12 0-6-2T) and 14 Diesels (1 main-line, 13 shunters), most of which remained here in early 1960. The 'civilians' wandering around are on an RCTS Visit.
