Bodied as a four-door six-light Carlton Saloon, its 2249cc six-cylinder engine is allied to four-speed manual transmission with the benefit of synchromesh on 3rd and 4th gears. Treated to a bare-metal respray as part of an extensive restoration that is estimated to have cost its last registered keeper, D. Norbury Esq. of Whitefield, some £25,000, the Austin's striking Ivory over Black livery is complemented by Red leather upholstery and matching carpets.
