Description: This photograph was taken by me at the Kalleshvara temple (also spelt Kalleshwara or Kallesvara) in Ambali, Bellary district, Karnataka state, India. The temple construction was started in 1083 AD during the rule of Western (Kalyani) Chalukya King Vikramaditya VI.
