Description: Orange Lake Fruit Company, 18 inch gauge tramway (Collection of Mike O'Neal) This unusual 18-inch gauge locomotive operated on the 5 miles long tramway of the Orange Lake Fruit Company, from Orange Lake to Flemington in Central Florida. The locomtive was built by the Lima Locomotive Works (works number 386) on 26th. March 1892. The tramway closed in 1896 after a hard winter freeze killed the fruit crop. The locomotive was then sold to the Richmond Cedar Works in Richmond, Virginia who ran it at their plant there.
