Description: Pallas's Fish Eagle Haliaeetus leucoryphus (Bangla:Chil) Kazaringa, Assam, India April 15, 2008 Problem with taking pictures of birds of prey on their perch is the strong backlighting. Making an allowance of 2 stops brings the bird out but the background is rather drab. This is a case of making the best of a poor situation. Lens: 500mm with 2X adaptor
