Description: Another view of the Sepik carvers' version of the famous Rodin sculpture, "The Gates of Hell." This version, "The Gtaes of Hell/Opawe and Namawe," was carved by Simon Gamulo Marmos and Jo Mare Wakundi, two Iatmul men from Tambunum Village. Opawe and Namawe are two mythological ancestral figures of the Sago Clan in the village.
