Description: Description: Peggy Bacon was a noted writer and art educator as well as painter, illustrator and printmaker. She was known for her sharp wit as an illustrator of children's books and for her satirical caricatures of the New York City art world in the 1920s and 1930s with contributions made to the New Yorker and Vanity Fair.
