Description: Penicillin Past, Present and Future- the Development and Production of Penicillin, England, 1944 Dr Wilson Baker hard at work in the Dyson-Perrins' laboratory, Oxford. Dr Baker has been working with Professor Sir Robert Robinson and others to try to create synthetic penicillin. He has just succeeded in breaking down penicillin into its separate elements and it is now a question of discovering the correct way to put these together to create a synthetic copy of the natural mould.
