Description: The Coor House was purchased from a mail-order catalog and shipped to Peoria by rail. It was built in 1923 and is located at 8255 W. Madison St.. The owner, Pat Coor, was Peoria's first barber and ran the Peoria Barber Shop. Listed as historic by the Peoria Historic Preservation:Old Town Peoria 83rd Ave. & Madison St. Residential Area
