Description: On Tuesday 10th October 2017, the University of Edinburgh's Information Services team ran a Wikipedia edit-a-thon to celebrate Ada Lovelace Day 2017; an international celebration day of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). There was a range of guest speakers in the morning followed by fun technology activities. Thereafter the afternoon's editathon focused on improving the quality of articles related to Women in STEM where the 19 signatories to the petition to the Chemical Society in 1904 were researched and published on Wikipedia.
