Description: The photographs of Pierre D. taken in 1870s. He was a master mason born in France. He was in his 50s and was a Parkinson patient at the Hôpital Salpêtrière. The widely reused drawings in William Gowers’ A Manual of Diseases of the Nervous System were based on these photos, which were included in Paul de Saint-Legers’ thesis.
