Description: Plaque at No. 9 Rue Gît-le-Cœur, Paris 6th, in honour of the Beat Hotel's most famous occupants: William S. Burroughs, Gregory Corso, Allen Ginsberg, Brion Gysin, Harold Norse, Peter Orlovsky, Ian Sommerville. It was here that Burroughs completed the text of Naked Lunch in 1959. The Beat Hotel became the Relais Hôtel Vieux Paris in 1980.
