Description: A schematic of the torpedo damage to the stern of HMS Prince of Wales, 10 Dec. 1941 is shown as if the ship was upright (that is, the wreck is upside down and this image is sometimes seen 'reversed'). Wreck lays in the South China Sea off the east coast of Malaysia. NOTE the much larger hole caused on the starboard side by the larger torpedo (i.e. a larger explosive warhead content) that the 'Betty' bombers carried, as compared to the port side hole caused by the first 'Nell' attack with torpedoes having a smaller explosive warhead content.
