Description: Building in which Porter Screen Company maintained its offices. Started in a backyard shop in Burlington in 1875, by the early 1900s Porter was the largest manufacturer of wooden screen doors in the world. In the face of declining demand, Porter closed its doors in 1952. The factory itself, behind this building, is now senior housing. See this also--------->
