Description: Quonset Huts for returning veterans after World War II were erected between the Bronx River & Westchester Creek. I remember in the late '50s seeing concrete platforms along Castle Hill Avenue where Quonset Huts had been. Kenny Josephson's grandmother and father, photographer unknown
