Description: Fire station #14 at 3602 S. Lewis opened in 1950. This is the second of two fire stations that Joseph R. Koberling designed. This station was remodeled in 1968 by architect Russell L. Magee. You can see that the roof on the left side of the building has been altered. This station also had a screened porch which was later enclosed. It was rectangular where as the station at 6th and Lewis had a circular screened porch.
