Description: This is the portrait of British Communist Leader Rajani Palme Dutt that was hung on the stairs of the second floor of People's Publishing House (PPH) office at 5E, Rani Jhansi Road, New Delhi. This photograph was clicked and first published by the Communist Party of India, in 1946 when RPD was visiting India. This building of PPH is officially called R. Palme Dutt Bhawan or Rajani Palme Dutt Bhawan in the honour of RPD. Please refer this article at Marxists Internet Archive for further details on RPD’s India visit in 1946 RPD in India, 1946. As per 2024, this photograph is no longer on display at R. Palme Dutt Bhawan.
