Image: Red bArrows Hanwell Carnival 2010

Description: Hanwell's very own Red bArrows on their low level approach to the agrobatic (from Gr: agros=field and Gr:akrobatēs = walking on tiptoe) display area at the Hanwell Carnival 2010. Their Mach Number, when adjusted for Standard Temperature, Pressure and Elevation, and taking into account gusty crosswinds of 25 knots, made their true ground speed equal to almost 8 mph. Although the Elthorne Park venue is situated 78 feet above mean sea level, the team were able to maintained a QFE of exactly zero throughout their entire performance. No ozone was harmed during the filming of this event.
