Image: Remaining Beach Damage and Debris from Hurricanes Ivan and Emily
Description: "In 2004, after being hurricane-free for forty-nine years, Grenada was directly hit by Hurricane Ivan and then by Hurricane Emily the following year. Grenada, being on the Southern edge of the hurricane belt, has suffered only three hurricanes in fifty years. As you can see in this photo, debris from the hurricanes remain strewn across the coast. This photos is part of my HDR Tour of Grenada."
