Description: Rob Roy, Culter Allegorical statue of famous Highland brigand, Rob Roy, above the Culter Burn. Rob Roy himself probably never visited Aberdeenshire and the statue more likely should commemorate Gilderoy. Gilderoy was a local freebooter who sometimes based himself in the Burn o' Vat before he was caught and hung in Edinburgh. This statue is the latest in a series at this spot.
