Description: The empty entrance court at the center Rockaway Community Park (formerly Edgemere Park), on Almeda Avenue at Beach 54th Street across from the Edgemere Houses in Edgemere, Queens. The park is plagued by an abundance of mosquitoes, due to its location on Jamaica Bay. It's a shame, because it's quite a nice park.
