Description: Schneider Triangle, located in the West End neighborhood of Washington, D.C., was designed by local architect Thomas Franklin Schneider in 1889. The row houses feature Queen Anne, Romanesque Revival, and Richardsonian Romanesque styles of architecture. In 1982, Schneider Triangle was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Addresses within Schneider Triangle include the following: 2209, 2211, and 2213 Washington Circle, N.W.; 1001, 1003, 1005 (Embassy of Tajikistan), 1007, 1009, and 1011 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W.; 1000, 1002, 1004, 1006, 1008, 1010, 1012, 1014, and 1016, 22nd Street, N.W.; 2201, 2203, 2205, and 2207 K Street, N.W. Originally, 22 homes were built within Schneider Triangle. A fire destroyed one of the houses facing K Street, though it was replaced with a home of incongruous design.
