Description: The Chelsea Apartments, originally Chelsea Family Hotel (and, in either case, usually known as "The Chelsea"), 620 W. Olympic Pl., Queen Anne Hill, Seattle, Washington. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places, ID #78002750. Designed by Harlan Thomas, first opened 1907, the building rapidly became residential, and by 1917 was simply an apartment building (see HistoryLink.org essay 3199).
