Description: A table of calculations from the Sefer Abudraham by David ben Yosef Abudraham (mid-14th century), from a copy printed in Fez, Morocco, in 1516. This is one of 15 prints of the book by Samuel ben Isaac Nedivot and his son, Jewish refugees who fled Portugal. They were the first books ever printed in Africa. Description that came with image at Library of Congress website: "Perush ha-Tefillot [Commentary on the Prayers]. Written by David Abudarham of Seville in 1340. Printed book. Fez, North Africa, 1516.
