Description: Sheep wash place at Guajome Ranch, ca.1890-1901 Photograph of sheep wash place at Guajome Ranch, ca.1890-1901. A set of low stone steps ramp down into the water. A short section of wooden fence separates part of the pond from a low embankment. A large tree grows on the embankment. A wooden fence surrounds the area around the water. There are several large trees. This sheep wash place was described by Ramona as being at Camulos. The Indian, Ramona, was made famous in the novel of the same name by Helen Hunt Jackson.
